Korean baseball team Hanwha has signed free agent shortstop Shim Woo-jun.

Hanwha announced today (July 7) that it has signed Woo-jun Shim, who played for KT until this season, to a free agent contract worth up to KRW 5 billion over four years.

Of the 5 billion won, 4.2 billion won is guaranteed, while the remaining 800 million won is an option contract that will be paid out if the requirements are met.

Shim's signing is the third signing of the free agency market and the first 'transfer deal'.
